VE teams make it to Business Plan championships!

January 30, 2025

The Virtual Enterprise Firms from High School East and West have placed in the top 50 teams advancing to the Business Plan Championship Round in February!

Athlyte (HSE), AquaTrak (HSE), Kahuna (HSW)  and RevTech (HSW) attended the NYS/NE Business Plan Competition & Trade Show, at LIU, which brought together more than 2,000 students, educators, and business leaders representing the virtual economy. The teams collaborated on Executive Summaries to submit to the National Business Plan Competition, which is a rigorous competition that challenges students to demonstrate their global business expertise through written submissions and oral presentations.

The teams below competed against 156 other Virtual Enterprise firms by presenting their business plans to a group of judges.

College Virtual Enterprise is a course offered through the CTE School of Business, and can be taken for 6 College Credits through LIU Post.  The course is taught by Mr. Costello at High School East and Mrs.Torlentino and Mr. Rosa at High School West, with Christine LoFrese as the CTE Director. Students enrolled in this course gain practical experience and a deeper understanding of business operations, making them better equipped for further education or careers in business, marketing, and entrepreneurship. College Virtual Enterprise encourages innovation, collaboration, and a proactive approach to learning, empowering students to become the business leaders of tomorrow.
