Fourth graders at Dogwood Elementary School were tasked with designing and testing a prosthetic device for a cat, nicknamed "Gerald" who lost its back legs. The students have been learning about the internal and external structures that plants and animals have to support survival, growth, and behavior.
Collaboration, compromise and active listening were key skills required for success!
Thank you to Project Lead The Way Master teacher, Kelly Bigliani, for spearheading this project!
