Walt Disney, Albert Einstein, and many more “changemakers” were the subject of the Great Hollow eighth grade Social Studies honors student’s elevator pitches. Students spent the past week researching 1920s changemakers and what that person's lasting legacy is. Students used library resources including databases, websites found through Destiny Webpath Express, and books. Students had to research the life of their changemaker, and prepare a 90 second “Elevator Pitch."
Michaela Riviello, Richard Restifo, and Francesca Casale’s classes completed the two week intensive research project with the help of Great Hollow media specialist, Deanna Jakubowsky and Library TA, Caroline Conte.
